About Mark
Education
Mark holds an M.S.W. from Tulane University (Bertha Wolbreth Feitel Scholarship), an M.F.A. from the University of Southern California (Warner Communications Scholarship), and a B.A. from Brown University (with Honors).
Experience
Mark has been a psychotherapist since 2004 and began his private practice in 2010.
Mark has worked at Bridge House, New Orleans’ premiere residential drug and alcohol treatment facility, and at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He trained at DePaul Hospital, Catholic Charities, and St. Charles Parish Schools. He has been certified by the NASW as an ACSW and QCSW.
Mark was a university professor for fourteen years and taught “Treatment of Anxiety and Depression” at Tulane’s School of Social Work. He has lectured psychiatry residents at Tulane medical school.
Before becoming a university professor, Mark spent eleven years in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.
